True TTD Story...

I'd like to share a personal experience on TTD with you guys. So in the first year of Top Thrill's opening, I was at Cedar Point and waited a good 2 1/2 to 3 hours in line for TTD. So you guys i'm sure have all heard of the dragster car getting stuck on top of the hill, right? Well, I buckled my setbelt and waited for our launch, and when we got launched the train got stuck right on top of the hill 420 feet in the air! Now this wasn't like some stories i have heard were it's stuck up there for 2 minutes, but we fell back down the way we went up! That's right, we didn't get stuck and then roll down the correct side, but rolled back down....backwards! So once the line of brakes slowed us to a stop, we waited in the launch position for 5 minutes while they restarted the system. Once we felt the car pull back a little, which indicates your about to be launched, we prepared for another awsome ride on the Top Thrill Dragster. The story isn't over yet! Once we got launched for the second time, we got stuck on the top AGAIN! I have never heard anyone talk about getting stuck at the top twice in a row! So once again we rolled back down backwards and we waited another 5 minutes for the system to reboot. Now yes, the train made it over with no problem the 3rd time around.
